Colibri Kitchen & Mixology
Makin banyakkkk cafe and dining place at Surabaya akhir akhir ini. Salah satunya Colibri ini. Daaan, located at Surabaya Pusat!
Makanan disini, berkisar mulai dari 28.000-150.000 an. And.. this time juga aku pertama kali makan di tempat yang taxnya 10% + 10%! Lol... Untuk minuman, until now they only served non alcohol drinks, around 20.000-35.000an. When I was asked the waitress, they said that the cocktails ready at their Grand Opening day.. Cant wait! (Yes, mereka barusan aja soft opening around 1 bulan yang lalu).
Lokasi Colibri ini juga mudah dicapai, berdekatan dengan tempat makan elite lainnya, seperti domicile, society complex, Sky36, dll. Terletak di Jln. Jawa, bersebelahan dengan SMPN 6 Surabaya. Dan juga bersebrangan dengan Matchbox Too.
Service disini really2 good, mas masnya baik. Waitress yang berjaga dibagian depan pintu langsung nganterin kita ke dalem.. But, yang aneh, makanan disajikan tetapi sendok garpunya ga dikasih. Baru ketika kita minta, baru dikasih. Aneh kan.. Lol..
The smoking area were bigger than the non smoking one! Lol.. Dan untuk pencahayaan, yang non smoking juga lebih terang gitu deh.
The wifi is available, but ngga bisa di konekin. -_-
Interior disini keren baaangeet! Simple tapi.. classy. Elegan gitu.. You can use your comfort clothes. Buat chillin' bareng temen2, keluarga, cocok banget!
And dont worry about the food, menurutku makanan disini sudah cukup enak, worth every penny of it. Untuk minuman too.. And plus, kita tidak boleh membawa makanan dari luar ya.

Food
- Chicken Wings with Shrimp Paste IDR 52.000,-
Quite a lot of chicken wings, and gede2 pula! Chicken wingsnya bumbunya udah berasa gitu, meresap sampai ke dalam dagingnya. I love this! Dan cara menyajikannya juga lucu banget, ditusuk2 banget gitu? Hahahah..
And the shrimp paste, so fine! Yummy pol.. But only paste I guess, because aku ngga melihat potongan udang sedikitpun.
- Spicy Beef Meatballs with Homemade Sweet Chili Sauce IDR 55.000,-
This food yummier than I guess! Kalo bakso yang biasa kita makan daging giling yang ditambahin banyak tepung, kalo ini bener2 pure daging! Dagingnya a lil bit spicy.. Dan dikasih saus cabai manis, perfect! Saus cabenya menurutku mirip sambal bangkok rasanya.
And.. 6 meatballs make me really really full! Dagingnya padat banget.
- Beer Butter Fish n Chips IDR 80.000,-
Hmm.. Not kind of fish n chips yang aku suka, but this one not bad. Dori filletnya enak dagingnya lembut, dan tepungnya fine at all, ngga keasinan or lembek, crispy gitu. But I dont like this kind of cut fries.. *anaknya bawel*
The tartar sauce so yummy! ;)
Dessert
- Chocolate Souffle IDR 42.000,-
We got this for free! Yeay.. We're not asking the waitress kenapa ini bisa free.. Haahaa
Chocolate souffle itu dessert favoriteku! Yumm.. Mirip lava cake gitu, but actually different. Souffle cake originally from Italia, kalo lava cake full of chocolate dan cara pembuatannya sedikit berbeda. Souffle cake juga ada half mateng cake didalamnya.. dan lembut banget.
The problem here, I just hate kenapa es krimnya cepet banget leleh? :') = the plating were not good.. Hahah.
Beverages
Only trying this two.. Left, is Colibri Punch (33k) and Right, Oreo Nutberry (37k). I think both of that were fine... But, I think mocktail more good without whipped cream. And the waitress not asking us before too. ._.

Interior
As I said above, I love this place. That much.. Classic, simple, yet elegant and fancy.
This two is non smoking area.. Dan non smokingnya menurutku hmm, cenderung ke simple and have white theme. #WhiteAddict ada pilihan antara sofa dan kursi biasa, and I think both of them were soooo comfy!
And this is smoking area. The smoking area were bigger than non smoking area :")
